What if you really do learn the most this way?

By June 21, 2017January 27th, 2023No Comments

What could you learn from a kangaroo?

Maybe how to hop and box, play pocket peek-a-boo?

Or could a monkey teach you how to swing and climb and jump?

How ‘bout a rabbit and her babies, would you learn to thump, thump, thump?

Could you learn a thing or two from others along the way;

Or does learning only happen in the classroom today?

Is it possible that anyone can teach you their different styles?

Or perhaps you learn mathematics by walking grocery aisles?

What if it were possible to learn science at a pond

Studying fish and snakes and tadpoles and frilly fern fronds?

Could reading bring adventure, and art mean painting a barn?

What about gymnastics, hide and seek, and telling a big fat yarn?

There’s more than just one way to learn,

And many teachers too,

Moms and Dads, teachers, friends, nature, and pets all do.

What if it is possible to learn from A to Z

The way things work, and who I am, from everything I see?

The Bible says it’s possible,

That all we need to do

Is talk and walk and play and work

And learn from night to noon.

What are some non-conventional ways you and your littles integrate learning and talking about God in your daily lives?

If you need help, please reach out. I promise to listen without judgment and help you take the next step.
