Here’s the biggest surprise in what you told me

what you told me

Thanks so much for taking the time to give your feedback on this blog. After all, it is for you. I’m so grateful to get to know you better. I’m always grateful for what you told me.

One interesting and surprising comment from the majority is that you would love to write a book. That is really exciting! Please do.

Sir Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr. said:

Many people die with their music still in them. Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it time runs out.

As one who doesn’t want this statement to be true of my life, I’m currently working on a book project. In a few weeks, I’ll tell you more about it.

To help you get started with your book idea:

The best writing program I’ve seen is from my coach and mentor, Kary Oberbrunner. His FREE 7-day video course, My Book Hook, helps you pull together a killer book idea. According to Kary “82% of people believe they have a story inside them. But 99% of those people will never write it.” They’ll die with their “music” still in them. Don’t let that be said of you. We need to hear your story!

I highly recommend this free course as a place to start your creative juices freely flowing. From experience, I know Kary will help you clarify your thoughts. At the end of the video series, there will be an offer to help you get your book idea to publication, but that’s totally up to you. If you are already clear on your book idea, check out Kary’s full author program, Author Academy Elite.

A few others key points from what you told me:

  • You prefer posts centered on encouragement, marriage, and parenting
  • You struggle with managing the many parts of your life and particularly taking care of yourself
  • You like the emphasis on Scripture
  • You are from all walks, age groups, and occupations

Thank you again for your comments. I so appreciate hearing from you.

Today, I encourage you to dream about your story, to look for your purpose and not be afraid to take the next step toward it.

As Max Lucado said,

The past does not have to be a prison. You have a voice in your destiny. You have a say in your life. You have a choice in the path you take.

Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story. We need to hear your story. Will you choose to live today or wait until it’s too late and die with your music still inside? You have a choice.

Capture the extra-ordinary in the ordinary,
