You and I deal with different addictions in our life. We all have them.
However, we tend to focus on the “big” ones–drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling–but there are other addictions too.
Things like:
- Food
- Smoking
- Gossiping
- Lying
- Shopping
- Exercise
You get the idea.
What happens when your hidden addiction is suddenly revealed?

This is exactly what happened in our life. On a warm summer Monday. And it is when my husband and I learned how deep is the grace and forgiveness of our Heavenly Father.
Psalm 118:17 in The New Living Translation says, “I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the Lord has done.”
